MJ had field day at school on Thursday. She had a lot of fun! She won 2nd place in the girls' softball throw. Her class won both the girls and boys relay. She was very excited.

On Wednesday, we went to the zoo with the cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. The place was PACKED!! But once we found parking, we had a great time. It was fun to go all together, but we really missed the Mosleys being there with us. G and G let for the girls to feed the giraff, and they thought that was GREAT! MN couldn't believe that they ate the same kind of lettuce as us.

Spring Break really flew for me. I feel like both the girls and I could use one more week just to relax. It seems like we went non-stop this week.

Also, we were really excited to have Aunt Lynaii here during break. We were able to make hair bows, go swimming, and have a fantastic baby shower while she was here. We can't wait to see the new "girl" baby.

The girls started Spring Break on Friday, and our first big adventure was taking them all to get haircuts. Naia and Ella just got a trim, but Jade had some layers put in. They are beautiful girls!

You can't see it very well, but Naia is pretty toothless. She lost two more this last week at school. The tooth fairy has run out of bills and had to resort to quarters! We keep telling her that she is going to have to just eat soup if she keeps this up.

On Saturday, the girls and Dad worked very hard at getting the citrus trees painted. I think we almost ended up with more paint on the trees than the children.

Happy Valentines Day......Arizona Statehood Day........Presidents' Day!!!!!

Dave took the girls fishing on Monday. I was not around when he let them get in the water.....

It's still a little cold. They only caught a "sucker" fish, so there was nothing for dinner. Oh well.

MJ was awarded 1st place in the Mesa Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration art contest- primary grade level. She was honored at a special awards program on Saturday night. She recieved her award from the Superintendent of Mesa Public Schools and recieved a certificate signed by the Mayor of Mesa. She was VERY excited to win, and we are really proud of her!

We went to the Arizona Science Center on Saturday. We all had a fun time. The girls' favorite part was the movie about the different kind of storms. You had to stand on this platform and when it talked about a hurricane you felt the wind and rain, when it described the earthquake, the platform shook, etc. The girls thought it was great!

They also had a room that should all the different parts of a house as it was being built. It was fun for the girls to learn about Grandpa's job. They kept saying "Grandpa does this!"
