This weekend the City of Mesa had a Family Movie Night where they showed "Bolt" at the Mesa Amphitheater. The girls were really excited to go. Dave bought them Chinese take-out, and we had a picnic before the movie. They also had the bouncey things that MJ and NM got to play on. The weather was pretty nice, but MN thought the movie was too scary and toooooo loud.

Monday, NM crashed on her bike. She had a few little scratches on her hands and legs, but her chin took the brunt of the fall. I thought maybe we would have to get stiches, but Daddy was able to fix it up and it is looking better already.

The girls were soooooo excited to get to see and hold their new cousin. He is adorable and we love him already!!!!!

When it was time to leave, David was worse than the girls. As you can imagine from the pictures, I am still finding grass on the floors and in the laundry.

Another fun thing we did over Labor Day weekend was a slip and slide party some members of our ward put together. We had a great/soapy time.

The Noddle Jungle was their favorite part. They ran around in it for an hour. It was a bit clastrophobic for me. I followed behind Dave and made him plow the way.

Over Labor Day weekend, we went to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. The girls had a great time. This was a place to race cars--kind of like a pinewoood derby.

August 15th - MJ's baptism was a very special day. She wore the same outfit I wore when I was baptized and looked adorable in it. Daddy made everyone laugh when he tried to baptize her "for and in behalf of"--to many trips with the youth--It was a great day.

This was on the first day of school. MN wanted to go to school too and was very sad to have to go home with mom. We both miss the girls when they're gone.

School started August 12th. MJ is in the 3rd grade this year, and NM is in 1st. They are at Franklin West. It has been a challenging year for us so far.

Hi. This is my first blog, so I don't know how "pretty" it will be, but hopefully it will keep you all up on what is going on in our family. I'm going to go back to the start of school and will try to keep up from there.

NM lost her first tooth August 6th. She was very excited for the tooth fairy to come. She has lost a couple more since.
