The girls had their "Spring Sing" for school this evening. We were too far away to get real good pictures, but they sounded great!

We probably took our last trip to the zoo before it gets to hot. The girls had a lot of fun as usual. We lucked out and got to see the new baby zebra that was born that morning up close and personal. It was soooo cute! I think the moms had more fun watching it than the kids. (Thanks Aunt N.)

Naia wrote a cute story about how to make a bed to be displayed at Arts and Letters night. The first thing she said you had to do was to clear off all the toys....so true to life. She did a great job!

MJ won two awards at her school's Arts and Letters Night. The first one was for her water color painting. She won 2nd place for 3rd grade. (Thanks Aunt D. and Gma H. for their tutelage.) She also won 1st place for her poetry recitation of "Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost. She was nervous because she had to say it in front of the WHOLE audience, but she did it perfectly!!! We are very proud of her.

D and I had our 12 year anniversary on Saturday. We took a day trip to Jerome, AZ. Without kids (thanks G & G Hansen!!!!). It was a fun place to visit. I can't believe what a steep hill they built that little town on but I don't think I could live there. I was scared I was going to fall off the edge the whole time. Dad said he took us there one time when we were kids and we whined the whole way about the curvey road....well, D can attest that I am still NOT a big fan of that road. Our favorite shop was the Kaleidoscope shop. They had some there that were over $2K. They were beautiful. We had a great time!

Easter Baskets

The Easter Bunny found us all at Grandma's house. There was lots of candy and sunglasses!

Coloring Easter Eggs

We had a great time coloring Easter eggs. The big kids got creative, and it was fun to see how they all turned out.

Between Conference Adventures

The kids found a new adventure this year...it is rock climbing. The sand stone rocks made for a fun time.

Cousins and Grandpa found that the fire ring made an excellent "ring-a-round the rosey" spot. Luckily no one fell in and got covered in ash!

The kids got a little more adventurous this year at the creek and were throwing in huge branches that had fallen off the trees. They still floated though!
