Went to D's work holiday party at the Sheraton.
The girls loved the Christmas town with its two trains and ginger bread houses.

The girls got to participate in a Build a Bear event where they chose from various bears and outfits. They got to donate them to the Police and Fire Departments who will give them to children who dont have a Christmas.
They got to meet some ofthe characters and got to take one home with them.

Neigborhood Carnival
The neighborhood carnival was last night. The girls had a fun time. They insisted upon doing the petting zoo, even though I told them that they get to do that everytime they go to grandpa's house. But they thought that was the neatest thing to do. They also really enjoyed the bouncer things....static hair!!!

Ella's Bike Riding
Storm
It has been a while since I've updated the blog. Sorry. I'll try to catch up today.
We had a really bad storm last week. Ella and I were out on the patio enjoying the cooler air. The wind just got worse and worse, and we had to run into the house. I had never seen hail this big. It was the size of a jack ball. It was really loud! It covered all the grass and made several big piles in different places. We went out wading in the ICE water, and it was really COLD.

Saturday
We were working on projects around the house of Saturday. D put up a new shelf up in the pantry which gave us a little more room and we are now able to actually walk in and find what we need. I had been wanting him to check to see what had to be done in order to get rid of the wood paneling, and Saturday he finally got around to it. Once he realized that the drywall was already there, it didn't take him long to have it down. Now the question is.....what color to paint????

First Day of School
It's time to get back to school! I had been feeling a little teary about the whole situation, but we were late enough the first day, that I didn't have time to get emotional. Luckily, everyone got to class before the tardy bell...and I didn't get in an accident (it was a MAD house). The girls met their teachers on Tuesday. Both teacher seem really nice, and MJ and NM were excited to be in their classes. They rode the bus home and were SUPER hot and sweaty by the time they got off, but thought it was a great adventure. MN has done ok without them so far, but around lunch time, she starts asking if it's time to go get them.
